STAUD PET

Submitting your pet photo

We suggest submitting a photo that is well lit, sitting or standing (full body) and preferably looking towards the camera. This allows the artist to best capture the details of your pet.

All leashes and obstructions in the photo will not be included.

Collars and tags will be included unless otherwise requested. If you would like to have these removed from the portrait, please email [email protected]

Custom order status

All custom orders have a 5-8 week processing time, once the artist has completed the order, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.

Any timeline extensions, exceptions, or guaranteed receipt dates will be communicated on the custom item’s page.

Custom painted artwork

Examples of the custom artwork can be found online. We work with artists whose styles may vary slightly and they do their best to capture all details and colors of the original image.

Embroidered artwork

Embroidered artwork on most of our embroidered product, is a character outline. While C.BONZ takes a photo-realistic approach, there are some artistic limitations and liberties.

Proofs/Mock ups of custom items

Our artists paint directly onto the custom item, they are not able to provide mock ups prior to working on the order.

Care Instructions

All artists seal the painted portrait with a protective spray once completed. You can care for your custom painted piece by spot cleaning with a microfiber cloth and warm water, avoiding the painted area of the bag. We recommend storing the custom item in a dust bag without it pressing against anything to protect the artwork.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. If you make a request, your  request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We will take steps to verify your consumer request, including that you are the person making the request, or you have authority to make the request on behalf of the individual the request relates to. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

Response Timing and Format

We will endeavor to respond to verifiable consumer requests within forty-five (45) days of receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any rights you have under applicable law. Unless permitted by applicable law, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.

Participation in a financial incentive program may require your prior consent, which you may revoke at any time.

Location of Processing and International Data Transfers

Your personal information is processed in the United States and stored on servers in the United States and throughout the world. You understand and agree that STAUD will process your information in the United States if you choose to visit our Site, purchase our products, or access our services from a jurisdiction outside of the United States. The data processing laws of the United States may be different than the laws in the jurisdiction in which you reside. STAUD may be required by law to disclose your personal information in certain circumstances, such as in response to inquiries or requests from government authorities or to respond to judicial process in the United States. If we are compelled to provide information about you pursuant to judicial process, we will endeavor to provide you with notice of the request prior to supplying the information, where permitted by law. We rely on your consent to process your personal information in the United States. If you do not consent to our processing of your data in the United States, please do not access our websites, or interact with us.

Information Security

We maintain commercially reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information we collect. For example, to guard your information, our website uses SSL technology, which encrypts your credit card number, name and address so only STAUD (or our service providers, where applicable) is able to decode this information. To be sure your connection is secure, look at the bottom status bar of your browser window. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser) the SSL is active. Most browsers offer additional security alerts as well. If for some reason you are unable to connect to our secure server, please email us at [email protected] to place an order by email. You should be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security all of the time

There are also certain steps you should take to safeguard your account and information. For example, you should select a secure password that only you know and you should always sign out of your account when finished. It is your responsibility to protect the confidentiality of your password in order to prevent unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and password. You should immediately change your password and notify us if you discover or suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

Protecting Your Personal Information

You may come in contact with websites, e-mails or texts that try to lure you into providing personal information with the offer of a STAUD gift card. STAUD does not sponsor these offers nor are we affiliated with the promotion originators. If you become aware of any potentially fraudulent activity on a website or in an e-mail or text, please forward the information to [email protected] so that we can follow up. We take these matters, and the protection of our customers’ information, very seriously.

Information Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to achieve the purpose(s) for which it was collected, consistent with any applicable law and STAUD’s data retention and destruction practices.

Personal information collected through the AI Stylist chatbot feature is owned and retained by Daydream according to their data retention policies. STAUD does not control Daydream's retention practices.

Certain service providers that assist us with analytics and customer insights (such as OuterSignal) may retain limited data in accordance with their own retention policies, but only to the extent permitted by our contracts with them and applicable law, and they are not permitted to use your personal information for their own marketing or other independent purposes.

You acknowledge that if any information you provide is false, inaccurate, obsolete or incomplete, we may terminate your use of the Site.

YOUR ACCOUNT

You may be required to register with STAUD in order to access certain services or areas of the Site. With respect to any such registration, we may refuse to grant to you, and you may not use, a user name (or e–mail address) that is already being used by someone else; that may be construed as impersonating another person; that belongs to another person; that personally identifies you; that violates the intellectual property or other rights of any person; that is offensive; or that we reject for any other reason in our sole discretion.

Your user name and password are for your personal use only. STAUD reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your account or your use of the Site, and to block or prevent future access to and use of the Site if you violate any of these Terms & Conditions. Upon any such termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease. You agree that any termination of your access to or use of the Site may be effected without prior notice, and that we may immediately deactivate or delete your password and user name, and all related information and files associated with it, and/or bar any further access to such information or files. You agree that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Site or to any such information or files, and we shall not be required to make such information or files available to you after any such termination. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms & Conditions, including all representations, warranties, limitations of liabilities, and all indemnities shall survive such termination.

TRANSACTIONS

We make available products for purchase through the Site, and we may use third–party suppliers and service providers to enable e–commerce functionality on the Site. If you wish to purchase any product made available through the Site, you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your transaction, including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information. YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO USE ANY CREDIT CARD(S) UTILIZED IN CONNECTION WITH ANY TRANSACTION. By submitting such information, you grant to STAUD the right to provide such information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Transactions initiated by you or on your behalf. Verification of information may be required prior to the acknowledgment or completion of any transaction through the Site.

Descriptions and images of, and references to, third–party products or services available in connection with the Site do not imply STAUD’s endorsement of such third–party products or services. All descriptions, images, references, features, content, specifications, products and prices of products and services described or depicted on the Site are subject to change at any time without notice. Certain weights, measures and similar descriptions are approximate and are provided for convenience purposes only. The inclusion of any products or services on the Site at a particular time does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be available at any time.

STAUD reserves the right, with or without prior notice: to limit the available quantity of or discontinue any product or service; to impose conditions on the honoring of, any coupon, coupon code, promotional code or other similar promotions; to bar any user from making any or all transaction(s); and/or to refuse to provide any user with any product or service. You agree to pay all charges that may be incurred by you or on your behalf through the Site, at the price(s) in effect when such charges are incurred, including, without limitation, all shipping and handling charges. In addition, you remain responsible for any taxes that may be applicable to your transactions.

Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer to sell products described on the Site or to make such products available in your area. STAUD reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion thereof, in STAUD’s sole discretion, even after STAUD’s receipt of an order confirmation or after your credit card has been charged. The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, STAUD has the right to refuse or cancel orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed or your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, STAUD will issue a credit to your credit card account.

COLORS

STAUD strives to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on the Site. However, because the colors you see will depend on your monitor, STAUD cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

LIMITATIONS ON QUANTITY

STAUD does not offer additional discounts on large orders of a single item or on large orders of many individual items. In addition, STAUD reserves the right to limit quantities on orders placed by the same account, the same credit card, or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. We will notify you if such limits are applied.

AVAILABILITY, ERRORS AND INACCURACIES

Many of our featured items are offered in limited quantities and, because of their limited availability, stock will not and cannot be refreshed. That means once an item is gone, it may be gone for good and not appear on the Site again. When an item featured on the Site is no longer in stock, we make reasonable attempts to remove that item from the Site in a timely manner. Should you have any questions concerning the availability of a particular item or its price, please contact us at [email protected]. STAUD’s acknowledgement of an order means that your order request has been received; it does not mean that your order has been accepted or shipped, or that the price or availability of an item has been confirmed.

If you believe a product offered by STAUD is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it to us in unused condition for a refund, subject to our written return policies in effect at the time.

Despite all efforts, a small number of the items on the Site may be mispriced, described inaccurately or unavailable, and we may experience lags in uploading updates throughout the Site and in our advertising on other sites. As a result, we cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability and services. STAUD reserves the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time, including after an order has been submitted, without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.

SALES, SHIPPING, AND RETURNS

STAUD may accept certain credit card payments for the purchase of goods on the Site. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order, or may cause your order to be canceled. Your credit card will be billed upon checkout.

For multiple product orders, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of STAUD’s offer to sell. STAUD reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

For more information on the sales process, shipping and returns, please see our complete Shipping & Return policy here.

STAUD shall automatically charge any sales taxes applicable to sales carried out through the Site, for which the purchaser shall be solely responsible.

RISK OF LOSS

The risk of loss and title to products purchased on the Site pass to the purchaser upon delivery to the carrier. The risk of loss and title of Gift Cards and e–Gift Cards passes to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable.

COMMENTS / FEEDBACK

We welcome your comments and feedback regarding our Site, our products and our services. We do not, however, accept confidential or proprietary information. Accordingly, all comments, feedback, ideas, suggestions, materials, information, product designs or concepts, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to STAUD using this Site or otherwise (collectively, “Comments”) are not confidential and will become and remain STAUD’s property. The disclosure, submission or offer of any Comments will constitute an assignment to STAUD of all worldwide rights, titles and interests and goodwill in the Comments without payment of any compensation. Comments submitted by you must not violate any right of any third party, and must not contain any libelous, abusive, obscene or otherwise unlawful material.
